The Road So Far...
- From first blog: 16.6 lbs
- From highest weight: -26.2 lbs
Ok. So I lost the weight from last week. I don't want to count it as a victory until I see the scale next week. If I can keep it off and make a little more progress, I'll feel better about it. Gaining and losing the same 2 pounds is not the goal.
Yesterday my daughter and I caught some kind of flu bug. Today is all about nursing it and rest. Hopefully it's just a 24 hour thing. I'm not surprised by it. We had a busy week. Thanksgiving projects for our little family. We went to see the new Frozen movie. In my opinion, it was better than the first! Disney really got into some deep feelings and teaching kids how to cope in an age appropriate way. I am impressed! I did everything I could this week to keep myself moving. It wasn't easy with our weather. It has been cold, windy, and raining. I love the smell of rain. The rainbows, obviously. I love bundling up with scarves and hoodies. Having a hot cup of tea by the window while the sky pours outside. My heart loves this weather. My body, not so much. I've noticed certain areas of my body that are more affected than others. My left arm, for example. The colder the weather, the less range of motion it seems to have. A certain spot under my right shoulder blade. It feels bruised and tense. Fibromyalgia. It's not fun. But, I'm pushing through. Thanks to my daughter and my fiance. She encourages me to do all that I can, and he pays attention to my limits so I don't push too hard. They truly are the best blessings.
It's a new month, and we have a lot to look forward to! So, until next week!
